Introduction to Part 3
from the book YHWH Is Calling
“Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
‘As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself
and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel,
his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it,
‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel,
his companions.’ Then join them one to another for yourself
into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.’”
Ezekiel 37:15-17 (NKJV)
Dear Jewish brothers and sisters, through the promise given to Abraham!
Writing this chapter feels like the most challenging task in the entire message. Once one manages to endure the difficult school of learning that often precedes the prophetic callings from the Lord, it becomes, in the end, easier to be a messenger of the Lord. One must simply focus on emptying oneself of all personal thoughts and concentrate on being an instrument in the hands of the Lord.
I found myself in an unexpected situation with this chapter. First, in His familiar way, the Lord instructed me to write to my Jewish brothers and sisters what He had given me to write for them. Then came the surprise. The Lord continued by urging me to also write what I would like to say to you through my own feelings and thoughts as your sister. In my morning prayer, I expressed my concern, asking, 'Lord, was that instruction truly from You, Lord?' I explained how I desire to be only a messenger of His words. Elohim repeated the instruction to begin the chapter by writing to you as your Christian sister.
Very well.

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;
That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments”
