Step 4 – Repentance from
Replacement Theology
from the book YHWH Is Calling
If your congregation is one where it is preached that the Israel mentioned in the Word refers only to current Christians or that only our church members or denomination will enter heaven, it is time to shake off all such leaven. The time has come for the elders of congregations to understand Paul’s description of God’s noble olive tree and the message of Ezekiel chapter 37. The time has begun for the elders of congregations to understand that the root of God’s noble olive tree remains unchangeably in the promise given to Abraham, in the blessing of his descendants and those from the Gentile nations whom God has grafted into their fellowship.
Let it be restated, as already revealed in the message, that although God exiled ancient Judah and Ephraim (Israel) from the Promised Land, He never revoked the special status of these nations in His global plan of salvation. God also described early on how, as part of the plan of salvation, the Gentiles would have the opportunity to be grafted into these nations (and not the other way around).
In many Christian denominations, the message of the Bible has been altered since the time of Constantine’s antisemitism, claiming that church congregations form a new Israel and that Jews must join them to be saved. However, this is not the Lord’s will, nor is it part of His overall plan. For their salvation, the Jews need only to accept the Lord Jesus into their hearts as their Savior—nothing more. Messianic Jews have already done this. It has been a joy to witness the continuous growth of the Messianic Jewish community and the way they live out their faith in the presence of the Holy Spirit. In fact, Messianic Jews are often the closest to the apostolic faith in practice. Unlike many Christians, they have never abandoned the things ordained as eternal in the Old Covenant, such as the Lord’s feasts. By accepting the Messiah, they have simply embraced the New Covenant, allowing Jesus’ example to fulfill the Old Covenant.
As previously mentioned in the writing, God allowed replacement theology and other missteps as part of a predetermined punishment, but also to prevent today’s Christian congregations from becoming prideful in comparison to their Jewish brothers and sisters. The Spirit will grant understanding to see God’s equal treatment of the daughters of Jerusalem. As much as Christian congregations have criticized the traditions of the Jews—some of which are cultural practices built on top of the instructions in the Word—during this era, the eyes of those Christian congregations who respond to the Lord’s call will be opened to their own man-made traditions that have, for centuries, seriously deviated from the Word of God.
Neither of Jerusalem’s daughters (Judah & Israel/Ephraim) will be able to boast about their journey, which has been marked by stumbling, when the Lord returns. What matters more than the stumbling is reaching the destination, and that both remnants will return to the Lord, accompanied by a great number of believers from the Gentile nations (this is especially well illustrated in Ezekiel 37). When it comes to accepting faith, genetics still do not matter. However, genetics do play a role in how God uses the descendants of ancient Israel in His own way to fulfill His global plan of salvation across different eras.

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;
That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments”
