Introduction to Part 1

from the book YHWH Is Calling

All inhabitants of the world and dwellers

on the earth: When he lifts up a banner on the mountains,

you see it; And when he blows a trumpet, you hear it.”

Isaiah 18:3

In accordance with the prompting I received from the Lord, I am publishing the letter I wrote to my friend for wider distribution:

My friend, I am on fire about the things the Holy Spirit has revealed to me over the past few weeks. This Easter season is significant in God's global plan of salvation.

At the first Passover of humankind, the deliverance of God's chosen people from Egypt reached a turning point, and God's own were able to avoid the punishment coming upon Egypt by smearing the doorposts with the blood of the sacrificial lamb. From that time on, the blood of Passover lambs was shed annually in remembrance of the liberation from Egyptian slavery and the salvation from the punishment of the death of the firstborn.

Centuries later, Jesus was hung on the cross as the sacrificial Lamb for all humankind, precisely at Passover. From that moment, animal sacrifices were no longer needed for the atonement of sins. All who would receive Jesus as their Savior and follow Him would be cleansed and saved by the blood He shed at Golgotha. From then on, instead of animal sacrifices, offerings of thanksgiving would be given to God in the form of 'the calves of our lips' (prayers, praise, and thank offerings spoken from our lips, Hosea 14:3, Hebrews 10:10-12, Hebrews 13:15-16, Romans 12:1).

After testing the revelation I received from the Spirit for several weeks and receiving confirming assurances in my heart from the Lord, I now dare to proclaim the good news according to the Lord's urging. This Easter marks another turning point in God's plan of salvation for humankind. In His revelation, the Spirit of the Lord made known to me that we have entered a time when the Lord will raise His banner on the mountains as a sign to the inhabitants of the earth, and the trumpets will sound through the mouths of the prophets.

I have the joy of proclaiming, at the Lord's urging, that the time prophesied in Isaiah chapter 18 has begun!

In this new era, YHWH will complete the mercy for the remnant of Israel, who were exiled long ago, and will ultimately reunite the descendants of ancient Judah and Ephraim (Ezekiel 37, Zechariah 9:9–10:12, and many other passages in the Word). With the raising of the banner and the sounding of the Lord's trumpet, the final stretch of the age of grace has begun. As it is written, along with the descendants of Judah and Israel, a great multitude from the Gentile nations—people from numerous different Christian congregations—will also be saved.

During this era, nations will also have to choose whether they want to be a sheep or goat nation on the approaching day of the Lord’s return. The events in Finland in the coming years will serve as a testimony to God's power and as a sign to many other nations of the transition into this era.

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children,

Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,

And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,

Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,

That they may arise and declare them to their children,

That they may set their hope in God,

And not forget the works of God,

But keep His commandments”

(NKJV PS78:1-7)
