Epilogue

from the book YHWH Is Calling

Some readers have likely already gained an understanding of the symbolic significance of the Lord’s appointed feasts as representations of the different phases in the Almighty’s global plan of salvation. While reading this book, they may have already awakened to the connection between the message proclaimed in these pages and the Day of Trumpets, one of the fall feasts.

Dear readers, we have an incredible privilege to live in a highly prophetic time. Just as Jesus' first coming over 2,000 years ago fulfilled the prophetic significance of God's global plan of salvation embedded in the spring feasts (Passover/Pesach, Feast of Unleavened Bread/Chag Ma’Hazot, Firstfruits/Omer, Pentecost/Shavuot), the fall feasts, which the Scriptures command all of the Lord's people to observe, are related to the Lord's return to the earth.

The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah, Rosh Hashanah) marks the beginning of the fall season's three festivals, which, in addition to the joyful anticipation of the Lord’s return, also includes the time of tribulation with its judgments. This period, culminating in the Day of the Lord and the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, holds great significance for people, depending on whether they go through it close to the Lord as His own, or walking in the lawlessness and ungodliness described in the Word of the Lord.

For readers who may be less familiar with the significance of the Lord’s feasts as foreshadows of His global plan of salvation, I encourage you to explore Keijo Lindeman’s concise description on the Israel-Apu Association’s website, or alternatively, watch the English-language series Feasts in the Bible on TV7 (links to both can be found in the additional materials).

This new era is, on one hand, a great cause for joy. The era now connected to the Day of the Lord signifies the true nearness of our Savior's return. Jews and Christians will awaken to their ancient brotherly and sisterly connection as the Lord removes the veils He placed over the eyes of the daughters of Zion and the people grafted in from the Gentile nations. At the same time, according to the Scriptures, the earth beneath our feet, groaning under the weight of defilement, is eagerly awaiting the cleansing from all evil and impurity that will take place when our Savior returns.

On the other hand, the joyful message of this new era also carries a more serious note. The voices of prophets around the world sound as the trumpets of the Lord, signaling the beginning of this era, so that all who are called may awaken and examine their own standing regarding the crown of life on their journey of faith. It is time for every believer to check the oil in their Holy Spirit lamps and, at the same time, to reflect on whether they have successfully passed on the keys of saving faith to their descendants and loved ones, with whom they hope to celebrate the Lord’s return and the crown of life earned after the struggle to victory in the Heavenly Kingdom.

On the other hand, the joyful message of this new era also carries a more serious note. The voices of prophets around the world sound as the trumpets of the Lord, signaling the start of this era. Everyone is called to examine their own standing regarding the crown of life on their journey of faith. As the Word says, out of the ten virgins waiting for the Lord, the bride, half will be taken and half will be left. It is time to reflect on which group you belong to at this moment. If the parable of the ten virgins is unfamiliar, you can use it as a guide to examine your own condition by watching a program from TV7's archives, where Mauri Porkola teaches on this topic as part of the series Prepare for the End Times (a link can be found in the Additional Materials).

And what about your loved ones and those close to you? Have you handed over the keys of saving faith to your descendants and those dear to you, with whom, in the Heavenly Kingdom, you hope to celebrate the return of the Lord and the crown of life earned after the struggle to victory?

Just as with the fulfillment of the spring feasts, the era of the fall feasts in God’s global plan of salvation will not be long. In any case, when it comes to the Lord’s return, we are no longer talking about centuries, but rather years, and likely not even many decades. The Feast of Trumpets was given as a joyful celebration to mark the beginning of this era because it is yet another sign of the love of our God, YHWH. He never brings tribulations without first warning His beloved through His messengers and providing instructions to overcome the challenges ahead victoriously.

For the purpose of individual examination of one’s faith, purification, and the strengthening of faith required in this era, YHWH gave a separate message to be proclaimed. This can be found in the third part of the message of salvation, titled For Your Victory (to be published as the last of the three messages, following YHWH Is Calling and Turn Back, Finland! Nations, Look and Take Heed!). The Lord gave this final part to be proclaimed so that all believers, regardless of their congregation, would have the same opportunity in this era. The Lord desires that none of the called would face the fate of the guest in Jesus' teaching who came to the wedding without wedding garments (Matt. 22) when our Savior arrives. There is still a brief time left in the age of grace for seeking God, being born again of the Spirit, baptism, and feeding the Spirit with the Holy Word to wash one’s garments white for the approaching Wedding of the Lamb.

Blessings,

Leora

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children,

Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,

And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,

Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,

That they may arise and declare them to their children,

That they may set their hope in God,

And not forget the works of God,

But keep His commandments”

(NKJV PS78:1-7)
