Living in the Time of the Congregations of Philadelphia and Laodicea
from the book
Turn back Finland! Nations, Look and Hark! I
“Because you say,
'I am rich, have become wealthy,
and have need of nothing'
--and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
I counsel you to buy from Me gold
refined in the fire, that you may be rich;
and white garments, that you may be clothed,
that the shame of your nakedness
may not be revealed;
and anoint your eyes with eye salve,
that you may see.
As many as I love,
I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent.”
Revelation 3:17-19 (NKJV)
According to one interpretation, the letters to the various churches described at the beginning of the Book of Revelation were written in the Holy Scriptures to depict the specific phases of Christian congregations rising to power during the age of grace. Whether one agrees with this interpretation or not, the letters to the churches serve as an excellent checklist for congregations, to borrow a modern term. Through these letters, it would be beneficial for every congregation to regularly examine the righteousness of their actions in the eyes of the Lord.
Those who have progressed beyond the 'milk' of the Word, as described in the Book of Hebrews, and are already 'eating' solid food, understand that the reference to the spirit of Jezebel in Revelation, written as a warning to the churches, refers to all those ruthless and false practices by which injustice, in the worst case, can displace justice and, unfortunately, also the realization of righteousness in a nation.
To my deep sorrow, I learned in 2020 that a significant part of my prophetic work is connected to how the operation of the spirit of Jezebel is visible not only in the legal case set as a trial for the secular government but also as one of the root causes for the downfall of righteousness in Finland’s national church. Knowing God’s character and ways at that time, I immediately understood that it was no coincidence that, during the years 2020-2022, Finland faced significant moments in both areas. While the blindness of the judiciary to the distortion of justice by society’s elite, in the manner of ancient Jezebel and Ahab, was being tested, a separate trial was placed upon Finland’s national church.
What happened in Finland when a Member of Parliament, chosen by the Almighty for a prophetic task, reminded the nation of the truths of the Holy Word and the contradiction between liberal politics, which had already infiltrated church politics, and the Holy Scriptures? To Finland’s shame, this woman, Päivi Räsänen, was charged and taken to court. Even more serious was the fact that not a single one of the bishops in Finland’s national church, who had turned to preaching what pleases itching ears, stood up to defend her or support the truth of the Holy Word.
It should be noted to the nation of Finland that it is no coincidence that Päivi Räsänen has a personal connection to significant servants of the Lord from Finland’s early years of independence (as referenced in the preface regarding Aarne Ylppö). The Lord is closing a biblical cycle that began through Aarne Ylppö, the bishop at the time, and Mannerheim, concerning Finland’s independence and the nation’s healthy fear of God. It is no coincidence that, likewise in 2024, the Almighty’s tests in both areas are culminating toward their final points. Finland’s prosecution service received permission to appeal the Court of Appeal’s decision, which upheld the Holy Word, to the Supreme Court. In the same year, in the Lord’s unshakable timeline, the justice system’s own trial will also move forward to higher courts, involving wrongful verdicts obtained through the methods of Jezebel and Ahab.
What is common to these cases is that those who dare to speak out, even slightly, in defense of God's holiness in the nation—and thereby the conditions for the nation's independence and peace as set out in the Holy Word—have suddenly become targets in Finland’s prosecution system. The hope for maintaining the nation's independence and peace is lost if defending the holy will of the God who granted independence becomes punishable in the nation. In practice, the secular government is signaling its decision to abandon the God who played an essential role in the nation's birth, the same God whom previous leaders urged the entire nation to turn to when fighting for its very existence.
People of Finland, do you think that the Almighty will truly look upon all of this without intervening? Does no one see the visible signs that, in so many ways, already show the rising of the sword of judgment as described in the Word of the Lord? Does the nation of Finland truly believe that prayers will be heard as they were in ancient times, unless the people are first willing to return to their God, acknowledging the missteps taken and beginning the process of repentance?
In the fall of 2021, Finland was already at a crossroads when this message, at the Lord’s command, was proclaimed to the nation’s highest secular and spiritual leadership as a final solemn warning. The Almighty gave time to the leaders of the country. What the Almighty desired to see did not come to pass. Instead, the nation was further distanced from God by the decisions made by both Finland’s secular and spiritual leaders. In 2024, the Almighty declared that the appointed time had ended. When the leaders of Finland were no longer able to turn the nation back to the God who made its independence possible, there remained only the command to proclaim the message to the citizens of Finland and those living among them. The Almighty will fulfill His part. Through the proclamation of this message, He reveals what will happen, and why it will happen, so that every citizen of Finland may have a personal opportunity to repent and be under the blessings of the Lord when the inevitable shaking comes.
This proclamation in 2024 is the Almighty’s direct call to the Finnish people and those living among them. Even though the nation’s leaders are steering the country toward destruction at an ever-increasing pace, every individual still has the opportunity to turn to the Almighty through His Holy Word and prayer. The shaking can no longer be prevented, but an individual’s repentance will bring blessings to them and their loved ones when the shaking comes. Each person must decide for themselves whether they want to face the shaking in the palm of God’s hand or without the protective shield of faith described in the Holy Word.
The Almighty, who granted independence, asks the Finnish people one last time: Are you still My people? Are you still willing to keep My name holy?
As I have already mentioned in this message, everything that will happen in Finland in the coming years will serve as a message from God to many other nations that are closely watching Finland. God will demonstrate His holiness, which includes the necessity of pouring out His bowls of wrath, according to His Word, as punishment for the desecration of His name in a land that was once given by calling upon Him.
God truly loves the nation of Finland, which is why He is giving one final warning. Afterward, through the shaking that He Himself allows, He will restore the justice and righteousness in accordance with His Holy Word to the nation He loves.
The purpose of this message to all nations is to illustrate how Finland has become like the church of Laodicea, as described in the previously mentioned Bible verse. Earthly riches and prosperity have once again, despite the warnings of the Holy Word, succeeded in blinding the spiritual eyes of a nation to its own destruction. At the Lord’s prompting, I urge all recipients of this message to listen to Väinö Viikilä’s teaching on how the messages to the churches in the Book of Revelation have an important connection to our present day and the approaching return of the Lord (Viikilä 2021, Prayer Meeting 16.2.2021). Through the events described in this message, we can clearly see that Finland is already living in the era of the churches of Laodicea and Philadelphia, preceding the return of the Lord.

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;
That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments”
(NKJV PS78:1-7)
