Turn back Finland! Nations, Look and Hark! I
The seat distribution in the 2024 European Parliament elections for Finland served as a clear indicator of how well the spiritual leadership of the national church has fulfilled its duties over the past decades. Based on the election results, it can be concluded that the Finnish people value every other principle except the biblical teachings of the Holy Word for the nation. The Finnish party, which, despite some degree of liberal influence, could still be considered a Christian party, did not secure a single seat. This is further evidence of how little the liberal ear-pleasing messages preached from the pulpits carry the heart-transforming power of the Holy Spirit as described in the Holy Word.
“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
