The Root Cause Is the State of

Decay of Spiritual Teaching

from the book

Turn back Finland! Nations, Look and Hark! I

The state of apostasy within the national church is indeed the root cause of Finland's decline, which has turned into a true democratic nightmare and the forthcoming shaking of the nation. Even more tragic is that the national church, for the most part, is leaving its congregation completely unprepared for what lies ahead, preaching a false sense of peace. The exhortation of the Holy Word to church leaders in a situation like Finland's is to guide the nation to repentance and to spiritually equip people for the future. Every church member deserves to hear about the practical significance and application of the believer's spiritual armor, as described in the Book of Ephesians, in order to stand firm amidst the challenges to come.

Indeed, I urge all Finns to test their national church pastors against the Holy Word. If the Holy Word is still unfamiliar, it is better to seek spiritual equipping in revivalist Christian congregations, where the teaching can generally be trusted to align closely with the Word, even though minor interpretative differences may exist among them. Interpretive differences and deceptions, however, are entirely separate matters, as the Holy Word speaks of the ability to discern between good and evil. There are still many priests within the national church who serve under the anointing and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and from whom one can receive all the necessary spiritual teaching. However, they are now in the minority, and finding them amidst the majority that leads toward deception requires knowing the discernment skills described in the Holy Word.

“ Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children,

Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,

And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,

Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born,

That they may arise and declare them to their children,

That they may set their hope in God,

And not forget the works of God,

But keep His commandments”

(NKJV PS78:1-7)
